Description

an obscure song by Burton Cummmings/Guess Who song. add to the 2011 Iconoclassic remaster bonus tracks of the Guess who's Flavours ("A Fool, a Fool, I Met a Fool" (Demo) – 4:09). I said obscure as following what's on Setlist FM, the Guess who or Burton Cummings as a solo artist never performed this song, so quite surprising to hear the song. The version live on the all starr band feature Joe Walsh on guitar

The French wikipedia (Translate here in English) tell us more about the song:

"McDougall and Winter left in June 1974, and the band recruited a new lead guitarist, Domenic Troiano from Toronto (formerly of Bush and Mandala, and fresh from a stint with the James Gang), who became Burton Cummings's main songwriting collaborator. Troiano had worked with Cummings, Wallace, and Peterson in Los Angeles the previous month on the soundtrack for a film (A Fool, A Fool, I Met a Fool) that was ultimately never released."

I was also read on Facebook: "In 1975 Burton was signed to star in the movie, A Fool, A Fool, I Met a Fool. A few scenes were shot but the movie never materialized."
